Isn’t it spring yet?
It was cold and wet yesterday, but we still managed to get out for a bit before it got too much. The lads from Stoke came out too, it was nice to see them as I hadn’t for years I dont think.
Dean.
Goodman.
Rego fisheye self port.
We hit a couple of spots before the rain won at this wobbly handrail. I don’t usually shoot handrails, but decided to break that rule this time. Unfortunately, my slaves weren’t playing the game while I was trying to shoot this, so I fired off this frame without flashes before giving up.
Goodman, Misfit.
I got myself a new fisheye lens back in my life, which I was shooting with most of the day. As much as fisheye photos are all too common in ‘action’ sport photography, I still think when used on the right features they produce brilliant photos. Rollerblading seems to have entered in to an era of blading smaller, weirder type shit. This type of blading has always been around, but it just seems to be more common at the moment. I love it. I also love seeing people chucking bangers. As much as my own type of skating is way closer to the weird side of things, I still love seeing people who send it. Who doesn’t? But anyway, I’m not gonna go in to the whole style vs. chucker debate, we’ll be here for years. From a photography standpoint, I like shooting the wierd stuff, no matter how big or small something might be. And for this type of stuff, I find that I turn to a fisheye on a regular occasion to emphasize what’s being done. Anyhow, the whole point of this waffle was that I shot Dean doing some mushroom blading which I’m hoping somebody might use. If not, I’ll post it up here soon.
Everytime.
Broked.
The weather is looking drier and sunnier tomoro, so maybe spring is on it’s way. Maybe…
